We are looking for a Summer Trainee, Offer Engineering to join our Process Cranes Offer Support team in Hyvinkää. Our team provides technical solutions for customers' material handling needs. We also plan possible implementation concepts and costs. As a mechanical engineering trainee your daily tasks will include generation of technical calculations for specific offer cases, making component selections as well as making offer drawings. The job will also include tasks related to specific development within the department. You will work closely with your team members who help you get started and support you in your day-to-day activities. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your cooperation skills and network with the best talents of your industry. The job is located in Hyvinkää with the possibility for partial remote work (1 day/week).

What kind of talent are we looking for?
This role is ideal for a person studying mechanical engineering who is eager to learn more about different aspect of crane technology and solutions, used to serve customer needs in various industries. You are welcome to Konecranes as yourself, but we especially value your proactiveness, ability to think outside the box and create innovative solutions to complex problems, ability to work independently and deliver on results. Our work environment is highly international, so proficiency in English and the courage to work in an international work environment are important.
Requirements:
- Studies in Mechanical Engineering (preferably at least 2nd year, Bachelor or Master)
- Familiarity with CAD tools, both 2D and 3D
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Proficiency in both Finnish and English
- Previous work experience in crane industry or Konecranes is seen as beneficial
