We are looking for a Summer trainee, IT Quality to join our Architecture, Data Governance and Quality team in Finland. As an IT trainee in quality management, you will be working with the quality management and quality development project activities. Your daily routines will include collaborating with quality and process experts as well as technical experts, hands on project design and coordination using defined project design and quality management methodology, assisting stakeholders and learning and applying the best practices in quality. You will work closely with your team members who help you get started and support you in your day-to-day activities. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your cooperation skills and network with the best talents of information technology industry. The job is located in Hyvinkää or Espoo with the possibility for partial remote work.

What kind of talent are we looking for?

This role is ideal for an information technology, knowledge management or industrial engineering student who is eager to learn more about quality methods and solutions including continuous improvement driven tasks. We are seeking a motivated and solution-oriented trainee to join our team of experts. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and guidance from experienced professionals in quality management while developing your skills in a supportive and innovative environment. You are welcome to Konecranes as yourself, but we especially value your good teamwork skills, hard-working attitude and enthusiasm for developing yourself. Our work environment is highly international, so proficiency in English and the courage to work in an international work environment are important.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Knowledge Management, Engineering or a related field (preferably 2nd-4th year)
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to details
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working in a cross-functional environment.
• Familiarity with the widely quality management and continuous improvement approaches (e.g. agile product development methods, lean principles, six sigma) is a plus
• Fluent English is an asset as you will be working in an international team
• Earlier work experience in similar tasks is seen as a beneficial
