We are looking for a Summer trainee, Documentation specialist to join our Industrial Equipment team in Hämeenlinna. As a documentation specialist you will be supporting globally our internal customers and interfaces in documentation related topics. Your daily responsibilities include for example answering questions in our global support requests, customizing documentation for deliveries and solving possible problems in our delivery process. You will work closely with your team members who help you get started and support you in your day-to-day activities. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your cooperation skills and network with the best talents of your industry. The job is located in Hämeenlinna with the possibility for partial remote work.

What kind of talent are we looking for?

This role is ideal for an Information and communication technology student who is eager to learn more about documentation tasks. You are welcome to Konecranes as yourself, but we especially value your good teamwork skills, hard-working attitude, and enthusiasm for developing yourself. Our work environment is highly international, so proficiency in English and the courage to work in an international work environment are important.

Requirements:

• Academic background in Information and communication technology, Technical Information, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Understanding of technical documentation and XML/DITA from your studies or working life
• Knowledge in traditional IT-programs e.g. Microsoft Office, Email, etc.
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Finnish, German is an advantage
• Prior work experience in similar tasks is seen as a beneficial
