Job Description
Are you Technical or Commercial student interested in topics related to business analytics and ready to hit your professional career with Konecranes Summer Trainee team of 2026? Do you want to gain valuable experience from Business Analyst tasks in an international work environment? We might have the perfect opportunity for you!
We are looking for Summer Trainee, Business Analyst to join our Business Intelligence -team in Espoo or Hyvinkää. Our team specializes in the development of business analytics in Konecranes' Industrial Services and Equipment business unit. In this role, your main responsibilities will revolve around developing and maintaining PowerBI reports for your business. Your tasks include
- Creating new PowerBI reports
- Further developing existing reports
- Collaborating with end users to collect new development needs
- Collaborating with other members of the team to develop the PowerBI environment.
In addition, you will work closely with other team members who will help you get started with day-to-day tasks. This is a great opportunity to develop your teamwork skills and network with industry professionals. This position is based in Espoo or Hyvinkää, with the possibility for partial remote work.

Qualifications
What kind of talent are we looking for?
This role is ideal for a Technical or Commercial student who is motivated to learn more about business analytics tasks. You are welcome at Konecranes as yourself, but we especially appreciate good teamwork skills, a brisk attitude and enthusiasm for learning. Our work community is international, so it is important to have fluent knowledge of English in the position.
Requirements:
- Academic background in technical or commercial studies (preferably minimum stage of 3rd year studies)
- Understanding of business analytics and business reporting that you have had the opportunity to accumulate in your studies or working life
- Knowledge in traditional office tools (e.g. Microsoft Office, Email), previous experience in PowerBI or other analytics tools is seen as an advantage
- Earlier work experience in similar tasks is seen as a beneficial
