Job Description
Are you studying automation or electrical engineering and ready to hit your professional career with Konecranes Summer Trainee team of 2026? Do you want to gain valuable experience from Commissioning work in an international work environment? We might have the perfect opportunity for you!
We are looking for a Summer Trainee, Automation Commissioning to join our team in Hyvinkää. As a Commissioning Trainee you will be working with commissioning of automated container handling cranes. Your daily responsibilities include for example installation of devices, configuring different sensors and trouble shooting. You will work closely with your team members who help you get started and support you in your day-to-day activities. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your cooperation skills and network with the best talents of your industry. The job is located in Hyvinkää and Hanko.

Qualifications
What kind of talent are we looking for?
This role is ideal for a Automation and Electrical student who is eager to learn more about Automation tasks. You are welcome to Konecranes as yourself, but we especially value your good teamwork skills, hard-working attitude, and enthusiasm for developing yourself. Our work environment is highly international, so proficiency in English and the courage to work in an international work environment are important.
Requirements:
- Academic background in Automation or Electrics
- Understanding of Electrics, PLC and networks from your studies or working life
- You know how to use traditional IT-programs e.g. Microsoft Office, Email, etc.
- Earlier work experience in similar tasks is seen as a beneficial
