General Job description:

Day-to-day tasks related to collection of products’ material/substance information from suppliers, such as contacting the suppliers, tracking progress and filing the responses and risk management.

Planning and coordination of material/substance related Master Data Management (MDM) tasks including problem solving by updating and modifying existing working methods and improving the quality of data,

Active communication with various internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers regarding the management of material / substance information, risk management and influencing the alignment.

KPI:

1. Overall supplier quality improvement on delivery of material/substance information measured as per Global KPIs
2. Risk management and reporting
3. Deliver on periodical reports on time with accuracy, so as to make business impact
4. Enable overall improvement in Konecranes’ suppliers’ compliancy level
5. Deliver on global projects which has a bearing on supplier quality compliance and improve savings

Role and Responsibility:

• Functional support for Global Procurement processes according to task assignments from Global Process Owners
• Independently arranges data collection from various ERP and underlying systems into a global reporting tool
• Collecting and tracking the needed documents/certifications from suppliers
• Verification of supplier documents as per guideline and storing them in appropriate tools. Extracting the information manually from supplier documentation, wherever needed.
• Performing supplier product/material data analysis on compliance, like generating needed reports to support Product compliance & Procurement teams on : 
• Compliance status
• Trend analysis
• Auditing the data and providing summary
• Supporting the risk assessment, including evaluation & reporting of the same
• Analysing and handling of risk assessments in different tools and processes
• Make quality data analysis, like generating needed reports to support various teams and respective stakeholders, which include 
• Risk identification, measurement, mitigation, reporting & monitoring and governance
• Support testing and evaluation of upcoming tools, as needed
• Ensuring data compilation, clean up and maintenance
• Process improvement
• Awareness on supplier risk screening and assessment
• Daily management and reporting out
• Participate in global projects with global team and deliver results
• Adhoc operational support to ensure efficient Quality/Compliance management processes
• Awareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 Standards

Technical Competence:

• Knowledge to read Bills of Material (BOM)
• Knowledge to understand product/material composition based on import / export regulations and Tariff Codes
• SAP MDM, HS Code, UNPSC Codes, Product Nomenclature knowledge
• Analyse/verify/study the composition of materials and draw insights
• Knowledge of international substance requirements, such as REACH, RoHS, CMRT will be added advantage
• Knowledge in risk management including facilitation of risk assessments
• Awareness in Business Continuity Planning / Contingency Planning and ISO 3100
• Basic overview on Management Systems such as ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001
• Exposure to information security
• Knowledge of continuous improvement tools like KAIZEN, Lean 6 sigma etc., will be added advantage
• Exposure to problem solving skills, macros, etc.
• Ability to analyse the quality of data using Microsoft and other IT tools
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, PPT, Power App, Teams, SharePoint, etc.)
