Are you passionate about shaping the future of manufacturing through innovative IT and OT solutions? At Konecranes, our Solution Architect, Manufacturing is a pivotal member of the IT department, working at the intersection of technology, business strategy, and operational excellence.
The Solution Architect, Manufacturing role operates within Konecranes Group IT department, collaborating closely with a broad network of internal and external stakeholders. Internally, the team interacts with a diverse and dynamic network of stakeholders within the IT Product Development teams - Enterprise Architects, Tribe Leads, Product Owners, Digital and Lean Transformation executives, R&D stakeholders, IT Operations, Cyber Security teams, and development teams. Externally, they engage with technology providers, suppliers, vendors, universities, research organisations, and customers. As an individual contributor you would join a truly global team and collaborate closely with Architect, fellow IT Product Development (SAP) chapter leads, and their respective teams. What sets you apart, are great communication and collaborative skills with a solid background in a manufacturing set-up.
As a Solution Architect, Manufacturing you will be
- Responsible of the manufacturing OT process area IT/OT (Global) solutions definition as part of the Material Delivery (MaDE) process. Konecranes has multiple IT solutions used in manufacturing globally and locally. In this role it is essential to manage the current state situation and To-Be roadmap
- Create and maintain Architecture guidelines and roadmap specifically for manufacturing operations
- Ensure that end-to-end solutions serve business needs and provide tangible value.
- Strive to reduce complexity and cost of solution development with cross-disciplined advisory on IT, OT and process areas
- Guide and advises agile teams, solution architects and business stakeholders on end-to-end processes towards common goals, while keeping focus on modularity, ease of implementation and cost of support
- Create and maintain factory level as-is and to-be architecture to optimize manufacturing landscape with business
- Accountable of the solution specific architecture principles, data governance, guidelines and constraints for development.
- Supporting strategic oneKonecranes (1KC) process and system implementation
Key requirements:
Experience: Relevant technical and manufacturing, commercial, legal and business area experience
Knowledge & Skills:
· Knowledge of ERP, WMS and MES systems, SAP knowledge is an advantage
· Wide technology & solution area of expertise
· Platform development and IT & OT technology knowledge
· Manufacturing and logistics value stream understanding
· Relationship building and collaborative skills
· Capability to form, communicate and implement architectural vision of future manufacturing architecture
· Manufacturing equipment knowledge: machining tools, automation, material conveyors, cranes, robotics and control systems
· Language skills: English, Finnish and German are seen as a great advantage
