Shipping and Receiving Associate - Springfield, OH

POSITION SUMMARY

The Shipper/Receiver role works within the warehouse/factory in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the shipment of goods produced and the received goods and supplies to be used in production.

• Record and check quantity and quality of goods received.

• Inspect, accept, or reject inbound shipments.

• Communicates and coordinates with appropriate buyer for products on returns/repair.

• Properly input received material into computer system (SAP and local drives) and forward proper documentation to administrator.

• Delivery of goods into storage or directly into appropriate work cells.

• Load/unload trucks.

• Accurately receive & verify accuracy of all inbound/outbound, UPS, FedEx, etc., shipments.

• Deliver work to work centers.

• Support all internal operations with timely and prompt service.

• Take direction as needed from management/supervision.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

• Competent with Microsoft & SAP business systems.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Prior forklift operation experience a must.
