Job Description

Konecranes Information Technology organization secures sustainable growth and operational excellence through IT Innovation and data insights. The service portfolio is wide; from IT services provided to enable Konecranes business processes, through Helpdesk, all the way to the business intelligence and analytics identifying new business opportunities.

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Specialist – Global Key User-Efecte to join our Sales Tool Configuration Team. This role is ideal for professionals with a mechanical engineering background and a strong track record in leading enterprise-level offer and order process optimization.

As a functional expert, you will support the organization-wide implementation and development of the Efecte system across multiple units, aligning system capabilities with business needs. You will also provide consultancy for sales support process improvements, acting as a key link between business stakeholders and technical teams to drive end-to-end functional delivery for global, multi-brand sales operations.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Analyse and translate complex business requirements into scalable and efficient sales tool configurations.
  • Manage end-to-end offer/order management process flows, ensuring alignment with global standards and regional needs.
  • Own configuration activities for sales tools (e.g., CPQ, pricing engines, quoting systems) based on product structures, rules, and brand strategies.
  • Conduct gap analysis and As-Is / To-Be mapping to identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Create and maintain functional specifications for reports, templates, interfaces, data mapping, and workflows.
  • Lead all testing phases including unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and support during cutover and go-live phases.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues related to tool configuration, offer/order logic, pricing, and data flow.
  • Provide training, documentation, and user support for business stakeholders across regions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, product, IT, and global operations to drive system enhancements and process consistency.
  • Ensure timely delivery and tracking of configuration changes, updates, and enhancements in coordination with release cycles.
  • Manage support tickets, change requests, and contribute to continuous improvement of tool usability and performance.
  • Awareness of ISO 14001 & 45001 Standards

Qualifications

What should you bring?               

A degree in B.E. / B.Tech or M.E. / M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline, along with 7-15  years of experience in functional consulting, business systems analysis, or sales tool configuration roles.

Following skills/competencies are required in the position:

  • Deep functional knowledge of sales and order management processes, including quoting, pricing, configuration, and order flow.
  • Experience working in multi-brand, multi-region global environments with excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise Sales Tools such as SAP SD, Oracle CPQ, Salesforce CPQ, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of engineering product structures, variant configurations, and their mapping into sales systems.
  • Familiarity with mechanical/technical product configurations in a sales or manufacturing environment and knowledge of BOM (Bill of Materials), variant configuration, or CAD/PDM integrations with sales tools is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience working with Offer and Order Engineering processes is a strong advantage.
  • Experience using tools like JIRA, ServiceNow, Confluence, or equivalent for ticket and change management.
  • Ability to work in agile or hybrid project environments.
