We are looking for Senior Consultant (Release & Quality Management, PLM & DT)

The Senior Consultant will oversee all release and change management activities, ensuring successful planning, preparation, deployment and post-deployment hyper care support. This includes managing change, leveraging PLM tools, and overseeing quality and testing management. While the role does not involve directly implementing developments and changes, it ensures that each activity is completed according to plan.

Your key responsibilities:

• Release Management:
  • Plan, monitor, and coordinate release management for PLM-CAD applications.
  • Define, maintain, and communicate detailed change management plans, including releases.
  • Review release artifacts, including test results, sign-offs, impact assessments, and back-out/mitigation plans.
  • Define and track performance and quality metrics for release management.
• Coordination and Communication:
  • Liaise with technical teams for system preparations, readiness for transport releases, and Production Go Live activities.
  • Conduct retrospective meetings post-releases.
  • Coordinate testing activities with QA team members and development teams within and across tribes.
  • Manage and coordinate release test management, including test automation.
• Quality Assurance:
  • Work closely with the team to ensure product quality.
  • Prepare overall quality reports for application testing.
  • Have a good understanding of overall test management.

The role is based in our office in SP Infocity, Hadapsar, Pune – but it goes without saying that the remote & hybrid working is a part of our modern ways of working.

Competencies and Skills Required:         

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Applications or a related field.

Work Experience:

• 5 to 8 years of professional experience in Quality and Test Management.
• Hands-on experience in software testing, including automation testing.
• Background in quality assurance within a technical or engineering environment.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Proven ability to work in cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams in a global environment.
• Agile mindset with mandatory experience in Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with Release and Change Management is an added advantage.
• Proficient in using collaboration and project tools such as:
  • MS Office
  • SharePoint
  • JIRA
  • Confluence

Technical Knowledge:

• Experience or understanding of Teamcenter PLM application.
• Familiarity with CAD tools like NX, AutoCAD, etc. (preferred but not mandatory).

Business & Process Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and their implementation within IT landscapes.
• Exposure to ISO 27001 standards is a plus.

Communication:

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Effective stakeholder management and interpersonal abilities.

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Applications or a related field.
