Do you want to be part of developing a global, world-class, service business? Port Services is looking for a dynamic and experienced Port Service Manager, Nordics to join our Port Services team. Business Unit Port Services, a critical part of Business Area Port Solutions, is a known and trusted service partner within port industry. Port Services offers a wide range of services both internally and externally. These services are, for example; maintenance and inspection agreements, retrofit and modernization packages, spare parts, training, consulting and digital services for port equipment manufactured by Konecranes as well as other manufacturers.
As Port Service Manager, Nordics you will be responsible for driving port service sales growth and developing strong customer relationships in Scandinavia. In Finland you will be responsible of driving service sales for Lift Trucks. You understand the service business, have experience in workshop or field service operations and are also not afraid to solve operational challenges. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales. An understanding of the port services or material handling industry is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- P&L responsible for the Frontline in Finland, which consists of the Lift Truck Business.
- Driving Port Service Sales in Scandinavia.
- Generating profitable growth in the responsible area.
- Developing and improving first level customer support in the Frontline.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives and sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful service execution.
- Provide market feedback and insights to support product development and marketing strategies.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, contracts, and reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience of leading a team.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales with a proven track record, preferably within the port services or material handling industry.
- Experience in leading field service or workshop operations.
- Strong understanding of service business for machine industries.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Fluency in English, Swedish is seen as an advantage.
- Willingness to travel as required.
