Job Description
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Mechanical and structural design of lifting-equipment and support structures (in accordance with current legislation, standards)
- Advice on mechanical components and operation of equipment
- Participation in field surveys if necessary
- Participation in compiling offers and budgets
- Incorporating environmentally friendly and energy-saving solutions
- Collaborate with co-departments on project and product quality and quantity issues
- Support for handling complaints
- Contact with customers, subcontractors, manufacturers, suppliers
Qualifications
What you will need to establish your success in this job:
- Advanced technical degree (mechanical engineer, building engineer)
- 3+ years of experience in a similar job
- Good command of English
- Confident use of MS Office
- Category B driving license
It is an advantage if:
- You have gained experience in a multinational environment
- You are familiar with AutoCAD, Vertex, NX, Axis
- You have a strong project approach
- You have gained experience in a similar industry
- Engineering experience/qualification in steel structures or material handling equipment
