Job Description

Location: Hyvinkää or any Konecranes location within EMEA region.

Konecranes Port Services is a team of crane and lifting engineers, software developers and product technicians located across the globe. We support all after-market services for all port equipment – from operational consulting, parts and maintenance programs to repair, servicing and training. We also partner customers in designing and re-designing, their operations with a range of retrofit packages, including automation, remote control, power saving, electrification and safety enhancements. No matter which brand customers have, we can create a turnkey, tailored and modular service environment that boosts data visibility, safety, eco-efficiency and their bottom line.

Konecranes Ports Parts is looking for an experienced Manager, Port Parts Pricing. Come and shape the future of spare parts with us, keeping the container terminals running!

In this role, you will lead the pricing team in Finland, being a member of the Port Parts management team. You will work in close contact with colleagues globally - BU Port Service Management, Part Sales, Port Equipment teams and Frontlines among others. You will also occasionally be a point of contact for our customers. In this role you will report to the Director, Global Parts, Port Services.

 Your main responsibilities:

  • Pricing Strategy Development - further develop, implement and maintain Global Port Parts pricing strategies together with the respective stakeholders, ensuring alignment with company objectives, market conditions, and customer needs.
  • Cost & Margin Analysis – assess cost structures and identify opportunities for cost reductions, margin improvements, and pricing adjustments to ensure pricing aligns with cost, margin and business objectives
  • Annual Price Adjustments – timely preparation of the annual price adjustment suggestions considering the volume and profitability, the competitive situation, plausibility and market acceptance and ensure upload to the global systems as required
  • Data Analytics & Reporting – use data driven insights to monitor pricing performance and trends, adjust pricing strategies, and support others with analysis as required.
  • Market & Competitor Analysis – monitor market trends, competitor prices and customer demand to develop dynamic pricing models that support growth and profitability.
  • Collaboration with other Departments – work closely with Product Management, Sales, Frontlines, Procurement, Finance etc. to ensure pricing strategies align with promotional campaigns, product launches, and customer engagement.
  • System & Tool Management – Utilize the available systems and introduce new ones for efficient pricing operations
  • Discount & Promotion Management – Design and control discount structures and special offer campaigns
  • Regulatory Compliance – ensure pricing aligns with legal and ethical guidelines

Qualifications

What you should bring

  • High collaboration and leadership skills across business teams and business lines as well across different cultures and countries
  • A proven track-record of strong Project Management skills
  • Deep understanding about spare parts business and customer needs with track record of solid working experience
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Knowledge for parts pricing strategies, price image, pricing logic, condition monitoring master data, parts catalogues and manuals
  • Experience of SAP and Teamcenter material data, preferably also with price management software
  • Parts supply chain management
  • Process driven, data centric and analytical way of working, with a strong attention to detail
  • Pragmatic approach to problem-solving
  • Capability of efficiently managing and prioritizing tasks and resources
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with fluent English and preferably also Finnish or German
