In the EMEA region, our People & Culture (P&C) team is focused on providing smooth P&C services for all individuals, managers and employees. Our goal is to provide local support for the implementation of strategic business plans and to drive the People Strategy in the respective countries. We utilise Konecranes global people practices and digital processes whilst also developing local people programs and practices. Our operational excellence is based on strong understanding of the cultural, regulatory and business aspects of Konecranes.
In the United Kingdom, our team is responsible for providing P&C services for Konecranes BAs/Functions in United Kingdom and Ireland, which encompasses 655 employees. In this role, you will work on building and developing local P&C operations and ensuring exceptional employee experience and engagement. You will also engage closely with various business leaders, driving change within the organisation and the P&C function. Your key stakeholders will include the largest business/function leads in the country and your professional P&C team. Collaboration with BA/BU/Function P&C Leaders, Global P&C Shared Services, and other P&C teams within the cluster is essential to present one People and Culture team.
Your role
• Develop and deliver the people agenda from global and business-specific People Strategy to United Kingdom and Ireland
• Act as a partner and ensure a consistent and fair approach to people-related matters with the central business leads and Managing Directors in the region
• Lead your team with genuine and inclusive leadership, serving as an open coach and mentor to support their growth and the business's development
• Ensure that varying P&C services throughout the employee lifecycle are provided at a high level of quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
• Support and lead all people-related programs within the countries, helping to foster our success and our winning culture
• Change and organizational management
• Lead in risk management of employee relations, employment
• Utilise metrics and KPIs to obtain data and insights to enhance operations
• Ensure operational and regulatory compliance of the P&C services and people operations, along with expertise in the culture and language cluster
• As a member of the cluster People and Culture leadership team, contribute to fostering a shared vision and a common sense of purpose across the team to deliver harmonised P&C services within the cluster.

Your capabilities and experience to succeed:
• At least 10 years of progressive HR Manager/Generalist/Consultant
• A hands-on, inclusive, and inspiring people leader committed to continuous improvement and the development of organisational capabilities and the P&C team
• Proven experience in managing and influencing direct reports and working within an international organization with exposure to matrix and Sales and Service environments
• Demonstrated skills in influential people and change leadership within an international context
• Strong advocate for digitalisation and continuous improvement of business and HR/P&C operations using available company tools
• Capable of working under pressure and dealing with ambiguity – with a mature and resilient personality
• Excellent in-depth knowledge of UK and Irish employment laws
• Sound understanding of the regulatory environment in the employment field within United Kingdom and Ireland
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an applicable area, ideally related to human resources management
• Fluent in spoken and written English
This position is located within Ashby De La Zouch, Leicestershire (Hybrid setup 3 days office 2 home); UK travel required (appr. up to 20%). You will report to the respective cluster leader.
