  • Mentoring and coaching team members to build HSEQ competencies across the business.
  • Contributing to the management of HSEQ plans and KPIs for tracking and enhancing compliance and safety metrics.
  • Reviewing and updating IMS documentation, policies, assessments, and systems of work to keep them aligned with Konecranes Global standards, UK legislation and industry standards.
  • Maintaining SSIPs and other accreditations held, ensuring ongoing compliance with required certifications.
  • Supporting the management and effective use of the Incident Management System (ARMOR), including inputting data and tracking follow-up actions.
  • Participating in internal and external audit preparations, supporting HSEQ documentation, and assisting in vendor prequalification.
  • Promoting a safety-first culture and contributing to HSEQ communications within the region.
  • Traveling as required to provide direct support to regional teams, ensuring consistent HSEQ practices and addressing specific needs on-site.

ISO Auditor certification, Six Sigma qualifications, expertise in incident investigation and root cause analysis, and experience with behavioural-based safety and fostering a positive safety culture.

Experience:

Demonstrable HSEQ experience in a similar role in construction, manufacturing, lifting, heavy machinery, or service-based industries.

Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication for creating reports, delivering presentations, and providing training.
  • Solid understanding of UK HSE legislation.
