Job Description

The Product Line LLE team provides engineering support in Offer Engineering, Order Engineering, Platform Support, and Calculation Tool Development. We are looking for a highly motivated Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) to join our team and contribute to engineering activities related to product design, proposal development, order execution, and platform development.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering principles, excellent analytical skills, and an eagerness to learn and grow in a global engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret technical specifications and customer requirements to determine the scope of work and develop suitable engineering solutions.
  • Prepare and modify engineering drawings using 2D and 3D design tools.
  • Read, understand, and interpret mechanical equipment and structural drawings.
  • Perform Offer Engineering activities using established engineering procedures and guidelines.
  • Create equipment layouts and undertake necessary mechanical and structural calculations to validate designs.
  • Develop technically optimized sales and engineering solutions based on mechanical and structural design requirements.
  • Support Order Engineering activities and platform development initiatives.
  • Present and explain engineered solutions to internal stakeholders and resolve technical queries.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional and global teams.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support new ways of working.
  • Perform other responsibilities assigned by the reporting manager.

The role is based in our office in SP Infocity, Hadapsar, Pune – but it goes without saying that the hybrid working is a part of our modern ways of working.

Education

  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Experience

  • 0 to 1 year of experience (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of Mechanical Engineering fundamentals.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in 2D CAD tools such as AutoCAD.
  • Exposure to 3D CAD tools such as Siemens NX.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong analytical and calculation skills.
  • Positive attitude with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to learn, innovate, and continuously improve engineering processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of cranes, hoists, or material handling equipment will be an added advantage.
  • Understanding of structural and mechanical calculations is desirable.
