Graduate Engineer Trainee - Mechanical

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs) – Mechanical, Mobile Harbour Crane to join our Engineering Design team. The selected candidates will work closely with experienced engineers in the development, documentation, and management of engineering designs and product data. This role provides an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates to gain hands-on exposure to 3D CAD modeling, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), engineering documentation, manufacturing processes, and design best practices while contributing to live customer and project requirements.

The candidate should possess strong engineering fundamentals, analytical thinking, and a keen interest in mechanical design and product development.

Key Responsibilities

• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Basic knowledge of CAD and ERP systems.
• Sound understanding of Engineering fundamentals and Mathematics.
• Knowledge of welding technologies, manufacturing processes, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Good visualization and interpretation of 2D engineering drawings.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Support compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements.

The role is based in our office in SP Infocity, Hadapsar, Pune – but it goes without saying that the remote & hybrid working is a part of our modern ways of working.

To achieve this goal

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering from a recognized and reputed university.
• Fresher with sound knowledge of Engineering fundamentals, CAD & PLM software.
• Consistent academic performance throughout the educational career shall be preferred.
• Passionate about mechanical design and product engineering.
• Strong aptitude for visualizing and interpreting engineering concepts.
• Keen interest in CAD modeling and digital engineering tools.
• Willingness to learn new technologies, systems, and industry practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong ownership mindset and commitment towards quality and deadlines.

Bachelor’s degree holder in Mechanical / Production Engineering from reputed university.        

Experience: 

Fresher with sound knowledge of Engineering fundamentals, CAD & PLM software.
