We are seeking a Global Process Analyst, R2R to join our Finance Transformation organization. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your process development skills and act as a crucial link between business end-users, global process owners, and IT.
The position is hybrid-remote and based in Hyvinkää or Espoo, Finland.
About the role
Our Finance Transformation organization oversees Konecranes' global finance and control processes. You'll work closely with the Global Process Owner, R2R - leading independent development initiatives, taking part in finance developments as part of a project team, and/or acting as project manager in some of the development projects. For the next few years, your primary focus will be on indirect taxes (e.g., VAT) and the associated functionalities within the SAP system.
Konecranes is transitioning to SAP S/4, and as a Global Process Analyst, you'll play a key role in this project, especially in the indirect tax area. You'll be involved in testing, training, and updating the end-user knowledge database. Even after the S/4 go-live, there will be ongoing SAP developments and exciting new process opportunities. We also have long-term plans to enhance the indirect tax functionalities within the system.
Your key responsibilities
- Gather, clarify and document requirements from business to IT.
- Drive harmonization, improvements and global ways of working.
- Work with implementation of new tax add-on tools (e.g. for VAT determination) and SAP DRC (Document and Reporting Compliance) module.
- Find, test, and document solutions.
- Support and train end-users, create user instructions.
- Drive finance development projects as specified by global process owners.
What should you bring?
- Relevant academic degree in economics (accounting).
- Previous experience in different areas of accounting, including VAT and/or finance process development. Working in a project environment is a strong advantage.
- Fluency in written and spoken English; additional language skills e.g. Finnish are an advantage.
- Experience with SAP, especially areas related to VAT setup; experience with DCR, tax add-on tools and Jira is beneficial.
- Strong communication, organizational, and independent working skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and a proactive approach to improving processes.
