JOB DESCRIPTION
Konecranes and Demag Ibérica is part of a Finnish multinational Group whose main activity is the sale, maintenance and repair lifting equipment, being industrial cranes and port cranes our main businesses. We cover the entire Iberica territory, Spain and Portugal, having several sites in the main cities of Spain and Portugal.
We are looking for a PEOPLE & CULTURE GENERALIST in VALENCIA area to join the Konecranes family.
The role of P&C Generalist belongs to the EMEA P&C team, reporting to the People & Culture Mgr. Spain Portugal Israel
JOB PURPOSE
Provides support to the business units, not only with respect the Konecranes P&C processes but algo regarding the operational tasks.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and update in HRIS (People Centre, by Success Factors) employees records so that information is accurate and secure.
- Wider support to businesses in talent acquisition tasks:
- Support to the manager in the whole recruitment process: kick off meeting, job description, establish a realistic deadline, sources to be decided.
- To implement different sources when searching new talents, mainly using 2.0 tools such as LinkedIn, local employment websites, professional associations, among others.
- To support the managers in the selection process: job advs., screening of CVs, performing interviews, etc.
- Acts as an interlocutor with employees to resolve doubts related to payroll (outsourced) , labour-related queries, etc.
- Delivers administrative tasks in assigned area within set timeline and agreed standards (eg. keeping up databases or other relevant tasks). Has good knowledge of required tools, especially in Information System tools (Success factors).
- Carries out activities based on established P&C procedures and processes.
- Ensures all regulatory and compliance requirements are met regarding own work in conjunction with internal standards and external regulation, provides support to business in own area of responsibility.
- Maintains accurate records, completes, checks and processes forms and documents in accordance with established guidelines. Responds to enquiries and assists employees and managers in administrative tasks.
- Identifies and escalates issues to relevant stakeholders and redirects problems to appropriate resources.
- Maintain and update other Human Resource data bases (e.g. Time Off, vacations, Alfresco) so that information is accurate and secure.
- Assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the P&C responsibilities and tasks.
- Works cross-functionally with other teams and departments not only in a country level but also in a function level either corporate or regional People & Culture team.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree either in Human Resources, or in Finance/Business administration.
Additional knowledge required
Experience in HR ERPs, ideally Success Factors (SAP).
Advanced skills in Excel as well in the rest of the MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 5 years in equivalent position (generalist role), in international environment within matrix organisations.
LANGUAGES
Excellent command in English.
