Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Technician to join our team in Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia. As an Electrical Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in our facility.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults using appropriate testing equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and electrical codes
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex electrical issues
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Assist in the implementation of energy-efficient electrical solutions
- Respond to emergency electrical issues as needed
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Electrical Technology or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience as an Electrical Technician or in a similar role
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and circuit diagrams
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety protocols
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with hand and power tools, multimeters, and other testing equipment
- Familiarity with industrial electrical systems and relevant codes and standards
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and report writing
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions
- Valid electrical certification (e.g., IET Wiring Regulations)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work efficiently and organize tasks effectively
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency calls when necessary
