We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineering Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the management of electrical systems platforms, including R&D and lifecycle management, in line with our product roadmap and strategy. You will define electrical system architecture across our machine range and manage a multicultural team to ensure seamless production, product care, and training support. You will be part of a global development department and play a significant role in both today's machines powered by internal combustion engines and the future electrified trucks. In your role, you will contribute with your technical understanding of the overall application and tackle daily problem-solving and technically advanced challenges. Working with us, you will engage with products encompassing a wide range of technologies, including drivetrains, electric propulsion systems, energy storage, hydraulics, vehicle automation, machine control, and digitalization. We operate in a global environment with staff and collaborative partners all around the world.
Key responsibility:
· Manage electrical system platform according to R&D and lifecycle requirements.
· Define electrical system architecture across all machine ranges.
· Lead team management in a multicultural environment.
· Support production, product care, and training initiatives.
· Develop tools and processes for efficient operation.
· Scout and coordinate suppliers for components and cabling systems.
· Plan resources according to production plans (R&D, ETO, CTO).
· Ensure compliance and state-of-the-art solutions.
· Oversee electrical system quality and cost management.
Your primary location will be at our office in Markaryd, but there are excellent opportunities for partial remote work. You will report to our Senior Manager for Machine Control & Electrical Engineering, managing and leading the electrical team in a multicultural environment.
We are looking for someone with a genuine technical interest, particularly in electricity and electrical design. A Bachelor’s degree in electrical or electronic engineering and a minimum of 5 years of experience in this role is a mandatory requirement.
Experience with modern electrical design tools such as E3, SolidWorks Electric, Autocad, and ideally, familiarity with parametric 3D CAD, is considered a merit. Our machines share a lot of electrical technology with the automotive industry.
You enjoy problem-solving and thrive in a teamwork-oriented environment. You are a skilled communicator, able to express yourself both verbally and in writing in English, good Swedish skills would be beneficial. To succeed in this role, you are analytical, structured, and goal-oriented, while also being innovative and capable of finding new ways to create customer value and meet market demands. You need to have the ability to shift your focus from a system level to also address broader technical challenges. You are dedicated to continuous growth and open to utilizing new technology and methods in your approach.
