If you’re interested in taking your career to new heights, we have an immediate need for a full-time Experienced CNC Programmer in Watertown, WI.

Job description: As a CNC Programmer, this position will work with existing overhead cranes and hoists in the Konecranes legacy parts business. This position will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.

Specific responsibilities include:

· CNC programming of CNC lathes and horizontal, vertical machining centers

· Knowledge post processors for machine tool programs

· Update and implement new versions of programming software working with internal tech support

· Standardization of methods for machining

· Work closely with shop floor personnel on setup reduction, process improvements, quality improvements to include tooling with new technologies, fixturing, and time studies

Qualifications:

• · Experience in Solidworks and the add-in of SolidCam, 5S, and continuous improvement

  · Minimum five years manufacturing experience. Must have a very strong machining background on CNC Lathes along with Horizontal and Vertical Machining centers experience.

  · Strong organizational and communication skills are required, along with a working knowledge of computers, SAP, and Excel.

  · Knowledge of tooling, using the tooling database and tool vendors

  · The individual must be self-motivated, creative, and organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
