Job Description
Konecranes Industrial Equipment provides an extensive range of industrial cranes, from components and light duty applications to demanding process use and solutions - serving general manufacturing and various process industries. Our supply network manufactures crane components for our Industrial Cranes, Components business, Port Cranes and Service operations.
We are looking for an Assistant Controller to collaborate closely with our Hyvinkää Components and Parts manufacturing facilities. In this role you will play a key role in supporting financial transparency and performance within our manufacturing operations. You will work closely with business and operations stakeholders, contributing to reporting, analysis, and planning activities that help the organization make informed decisions and operate efficiently. You will be reporting to Business Controller, Supply Operations Hyvinkää
The role will be located at our office in Hyvinkää, Finland, hybrid set up is possible.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Preparation of Konecranes operative reporting on monthly basis.
- Providing analysis of monthly results for the management.
- Supporting internal and external audit processes.
- Supporting our business operations with calculation and analysis of product costs, stock and WIP etc.
- Maintain and improve SAP data quality through clean-up and validation tasks
- Preparation of other ad hoc reports.
- Annual planning together with business controller and management team.
Qualifications
What should you bring?
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree (University or UAS), preferably in Financial or Management Accounting, Finance, Economics or Industrial Engineering
- At least 2 years of work experience in management accounting and / or financial accounting
- Knowledge of accounting and financial processes
- Experience from ERP, preferably SAP
- Excellent IT skills, efficient in MS Office tools
- Fluency in both Finnish and English
- Ability to work with tight deadlines.
You will be successful in this role if you have a proactive and analytical approach to work and have great problem-solving capabilities. You also spot both trends and anomalies with ease and are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
