Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Cutting Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia. This apprenticeship offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in operating cutting machines while contributing to our production processes.
- Get Good Knowledge of Machine Operation during the on job training.
- Operation CNC machine for cutting difference Size of plates
- Load raw materials from racks to machine for cutting and machine to work area after cutting.
- Ensure Correct Tools & consummables are installed for machine based on thickness of plates.
- Ensure Correct Parametes are applied based on cutting process and plate thickness.
- Run Daily Inspections on Macine before starting machine.
- Support Maintenance team during maintenance of Machine.
- Ensure minimum scrapping of plates by using efficient nesting.
- Ensure to have traceability of heat numbers on cut plates as well as offcuts
- Off-cut stock management and providing informaiton to supervisor.
- Providing information to warehouse for plates being used.
- Support other teams as and when needed.
- Maintain Safe organised and clean work environment.
- Detect and report deflective materials if any to manager.
Non technical Skills
- Lift upto 15-18 Kg
- Flexible to work on overtime and on weekend as and when needed.
- Simple Maths for performing basic calculations.
- Able to use Basic hand tools and measuring tools.
- Work Independently once training is completed
Qualifications
- Qualified diploma or certification in machine operation
- Basic understanding of workshop safety procedures
- Ability to read and interpret simple technical drawings (desirable)
- Good communication skills in English
