Job Description

In 2012, Konecranes established European Financial Shared Service Center in Tallinn, Estonia. The center offers transaction handling services, financial master data maintenance and financial accounting services to Konecranes Group’s companies.

Our Accounts Payable team is looking for an Accountant to replace an employee on parental leave.

Your main job tasks will be:

  • Handling supplier invoices according to agreed company processes.
  • Preparing weekly supplier payments.
  • Ensuring all transactions are in compliance with business and tax requirements.
  • Resolving discrepancies of vendor invoices.
  • Communicating with external and internal vendors.
  • Solving daily accounting related topics. 
  • Supporting team members and business units.
  • Attending team activities and meetings in our office in Tallinn, based on business need. 

Qualifications

 

  • At least 2 years of previous work experience in accounting.
  • Education in the field of finance and previous experience with SAP are preferred.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of accounting processes.
  • Experience or willingness to work with different ERP systems and tools, with an eagerness to learn new systems.
  • Very good spoken and written English and IT skills.
  • Being a team player and readiness to work in an international environment.
  • Accurate and detail-oriented working style, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines.
  • Flexibility, self-driven, and autonomous working style to support business processes.
  • Good communication skills and a customer-oriented approach to work.
  • Strong team player with the willingness to work in an international environment.
