Accountant

• Processing daily vendor incoming PO and non-PO related invoices in SAP according to legal and tax requirements and business instructions. 

• Resolving discrepancies if any by communicating with business unit’s contact person and with Team Lead or another team member if needed. 

• Supporting Team Lead or Senior Accountant in preparation of weekly payment proposals (data quality check). 

• Ensuring accurate and timely month-end closing together with AP Team Lead and Senior Accountant. 

• Reconciling intercompany vendor balances on behalf of Business Unit. 

• Ensuring that all closing tasks for country business units are completed in time. 

• Participating in testing (SAP, VIM etc). 

• Creating IT tickets in case of system issues and errors. 

• Answering incoming vendor inquiries about account status, open invoices via web-tool or by e-mail. 

• Substituting other team members in case of absence. 

• Follows the requirements of the GDPR regulation tasks in daily work. 

• Other work-related duties may be assigned by management. 

Education 

• Vocational education in finance and/or in accounting 

Experience and competences: 

• Minimum 2-years working experience in accounting or any related field; 

• good knowledge and understaing of accounting processes; 

• accurate and detail oriented working style; deadline-oriented mindset; 

• flexible, self-driven and autonomous working style; 

• self-driven work attitude; 

• ability for problem solving in systematic way; 

• business and customer oriented; 

• well-developed communication and interpersonal skills; business and customer oriented attitude; 

• good understanding of and experience in working with ERP software (SAP, Navision, Axapta etc.); 

• fluency in spoken and written English.
