Locations
Konecranes offers nearly 200 summer jobs annually in both production and office roles. Our production positions are based at factories in Hyvinkää and Hämeenlinna, while office roles are primarily at our headquarters in these cities, with a few opportunities in locations like Tampere and Espoo. Most of our office positions allow you to work partially remotely.
Role types
We welcome vocational school and university students studying technology or business. Roles range from production tasks—such as machining, assembly, electrical installation, and warehouse operations—to engineering, product development, maintenance, sales, IT, and more. Commercial field roles include procurement, communications, HR, finance, and customer service.

Summer jobs typically last 3–4 months between May and September, offering valuable experience in a supportive work environment.

Our hiring steps
Step 1
Application Screening
We review applications already during the application period and all the applications will be reviewed after the application period ends, at the latest. Our recruitment team reviews applications together with the hiring manager to evaluate candidates' skills and suitability for the role.
Our recruiters may call you during the screening process to discuss your skills and interest in the position in more detail.
Step 2
Interviews
Shortlisted candidates are invited to interviews to discuss their skills, interests, and the role details. The interviews are held both in Teams and at our locations, depending on the team and the role.
Step 3
Group interviews
Some roles, such as factory positions, may include group interviews, with instructions provided as needed.
Step 4
Final selection
Hiring managers make the final decisions. Our recruitment team informs all candidates of the recruitment outcomes by the end of March.
