At Konecranes, we know experienced technicians aren’t looking for just another job, they’re looking for long-term growth and recognition. Whether you want to deepen your technical skills, mentor others, or move into leadership, we support your growth every step of the way.
Here you can see some real-life examples of where your path could lead. Where do you see yourself in five years? Let’s find out, together.
Starting strong
Kick off your career with hands-on work, full training, and real responsibility from day one. You’ll learn the ropes while supporting maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
Growing your skills
Take on more complex tasks, lead site visits, or coordinate service teams. At this stage, you can choose to specialise in technical work or explore early leadership roles.
Taking it further
Whether you’re aiming for leadership or want to stay deep in the technical field, we support both paths. Many of our Service Technicians move into expert or management roles over time.
